How per-video click attribution works

Know exactly which YouTube video generated every click.

Most link shorteners only tell you a link got clicked. GoloLink tells you which video it was clicked from.

How it works

When you attach a short link to a video, GoloLink tags every click that comes in on that link with the video it's attached to. If the same link is placed in more than one video, GoloLink still separates out clicks per video.

What this unlocks

  • Clicks by video — see which specific uploads actually drive outbound traffic, not just which get views.
  • Click timeline — clicks over time for a video, so you can see how quickly (or slowly) a video's traffic decays.
  • Top-performing videos — a ranked view across your channel, so you know what to make more of.

You can create a link without attaching it to a video (for example, for a bio page or a one-off placement) — it'll still track clicks and appear in your link list, just without a video breakdown.
